Aloha, I would like to commend the Mendes Ranch and it's staff for a great experience that my wife and I enjoyed in early Oct. '08. We were fortunate to enjoy an afternoon ride with a small group (only 7 of us); and our guide, Frenchie, gave us a wonderful experience, - the vistas were breath taking. He was very cordial, took great care in ensuring that we were safe and we knew what to expect. Frenchie answered questions for all of us and was an all around great 'frontman' for your ranch. Please extend our thanks to him and to all of your staff for a amazing afternoon. We look forward to coming back to the Mendes Ranch when we return to Maui in a few years. We have 2 sons, ages 9 & 12, and they absolutely loved it. The scenery was just beautiful, and the guides were an absolute hoot! I'm sorry that I can't remember his name, but the guide that was riding in the middle/back with us, kept us in stitches the entire time. He was truly a character. We have been horseback riding before in Lake Tahoe, CA, and while that was also a beautiful ride, this one in Maui
couldn't be beat! The trail from the mountains down to the ocean was just breathtaking and we just loved it. My husband loved that he was able
